Banjo Paterson was famous because he was a very good poem and song writer. You’ll never guess who wrote the famous song Waltzing Matilda. It was him!! He wrote many other famous song like The Man from Snowy River. His name isn’t really Banjo, that was the pseudonym he used when he posted his poems in the newspaper.
